Jacquie works with adults on an individual basis to resolve a wide variety of issues. Therapy is both a healing and informative process, helping clients not only understand their issues, but  bring resolution to harmful past experiences and present challenges. Working with PICT, Jacquie is able to offer a flexible working approach, that can be individually tailored to suit a client’s lifestyle. 

 

Experience: Prior to setting up her private practice in 2012, Jacquie initially worked as part of the counselling team at Release – counselling for the community  for over 3 years, (now part of the YMCA in Surbiton). Benefiting from working and training  with a group of therapists from a range of training and theoretical backgrounds. She has also used both her personal experience and professional expertise to  inform and train potential adopters with Action for Children (formerly NCH), and taken part in the BBC Find a Family initiative. Jacquie also enjoys working in a pastoral setting and has taught and facilitated a series of small adult self development groups.
